CARIBBEAN CULTURE

In this project I collaborated with New World Steel Orchestra (NWSO). For this collaboration I helped to promote NWSO to gain more recognition and pan-playing members (specifically the youth). To collaborate, NWSO told me what to photograph, for example going out to events and practice sessions showing me old photo albums. I also had a short interview with some individuals within the small community will talk about their views on the culture and how they got into Pan, what it is about, and summary of everything. This in turn helped me to further promote them with my photography since that by having a 1 to 1 small interview with them, I understood how to market for them in a convenient way for their target audience, 'youth' by using social media accounts such as YouTube.
